Dongying Jinmei Chemical Co., Ltd. is a chemical enterprise specializing in the production of crude oil demulsifiers with epoxy propane and epoxy ethane as the main raw materials. The demulsifier is formed by block polymerization into linear molecules with molecular weights ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands. One end of the demulsifier linear molecule contains a hydroxyl group as a hydrophilic group, while the other end contains a hydrocarbon group as a lipophilic group. One end of the linear molecule can be connected to oil molecules, and the other end can be connected to water molecules. After a certain reaction time at a specific temperature, the oil and water aggregate separately, achieving oil-water separation. The initiators used in the demulsifier production include -NH2, -OH and phenolic amine resins containing -NH2 and -OH. The company has been engaged in demulsifier research and production for more than 30 years, with more than 30 types of monomers produced, including water-soluble demulsifiers, oil-soluble demulsifiers, demulsifiers for heavy oil dehydration, demulsifiers for low-temperature crude oil dehydration, dedicated demulsifiers for clean water, and demulsifiers for sewage treatment. The annual production capacity of the demulsifier product is more than 20,000 tons. The company has two national invention patents and more than ten utility model patents for its demulsifier products. The company has two research institutes at China University of Petroleum and Shandong Institute of Petroleum and Chemical Technology, with more than ten dedicated research and development personnel.
